My primary office is based in Siliguri, but my practice covers all of North Bengal. I regularly travel to courts in Jalpaiguri, Darjeeling, Cooch Behar, and surrounding districts. If your matter requires physical representation in these areas, I will travel to handle it.
I handle a wide range of legal matters including:

Typically you will need:
I will confirm the exact list tailored to your specific transaction once we review your case.
Timelines vary by service and government processing speeds. As a general guide:
I will give you a realistic estimate at the start and keep you updated at every stage.
Absolutely. I regularly advise and represent clients from across India. For most matters — including income tax, GST, contract drafting, affidavits, trade mark registration, and general legal advisory — the entire process can be managed remotely via phone, video call, and secure electronic document exchange. Physical presence in Siliguri is only required where the law mandates it, and I will guide you on exactly what is needed and when.
Yes, for most legal services. The following can be handled entirely online:
You consult via phone or video call, share documents electronically, and receive completed legal documents delivered to your inbox. Physical presence is only required for matters that legally mandate in-person execution — such as property registration at the Sub-Registrar’s office or court hearings — and I will inform you well in advance.
To ensure every client receives dedicated time, thorough case analysis, and actionable legal strategy, I do not offer free consultations. I charge a standard consultation fee, which guarantees you get direct, expert advice right from our first meeting — not a vague overview, but a clear roadmap for your legal matter.
You can book an appointment by contacting my office via phone, WhatsApp, or email. Once the consultation fee is paid via UPI, NEFT, or standard online payment links, we will schedule a secure video or phone consultation at a time that suits you. All payment details are shared at the time of booking.
Yes. I draft legally ironclad business agreements, vendor contracts, NDA/Non-compete clauses, and employment contracts for businesses across India. We consult over video call, I review your requirements, and the final drafted documents are delivered electronically. No in-person visit is required.
A mutual consent divorce typically takes 6 months — this is the mandatory cooling-off period under Section 13B of the Hindu Marriage Act (or Section 28 of the Special Marriage Act). The Supreme Court has held that this period can be waived in exceptional circumstances where the marriage has irretrievably broken down.
Both parties generally need to be present for the first motion (filing the joint petition) and the second motion (final hearing). However, all negotiation, settlement drafting, and case preparation is handled by me beforehand to minimise your time in court and make the process as smooth as possible.
